Last year, ECGP agreed to donate the 170 acres of the “natural area” of the property to the Nature Conservancy. This portion of the property is highly-valued for its globally rare “Dune and Swale” habitat.

The community came out for an overview Symposium style meeting with Impact Environmental concerning the means and methods for remediation of the property identified as the Former DuPont Facility in East Chicago, Indiana. We were excited to present topics that pertain to the next 6 months of work expected to be performed to remedy the property as directed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
